Point of View Gallery Talk: America/American

Drawn from the permanent collections of the Polk Museum of Art and Florida Southern College, this exhibition examines the question: “What is American Art?” As the exhibition and this interactive gallery discussion will make clear, there are no easy answers. Looking at work from across media and styles and by all definitions of “American” artists, the talk will encourage visitors to reconsider the definition of what makes a work of art “American.”

Led by Dr. Alex Rich.

Join us for Point of View Gallery talks every second Friday of the month at noon.

Space is limited. RSVP by emailing Reservations@PolkMuseumofArt.org.
